The term "Alma libre" means "free soul" and symbolizes a unique holiday concept. Our guests experience an unforgettable time amidst wild-romantic nature and a relaxed atmosphere.
17 rooms – standard or luxury?
There are 8 standard double rooms, 7 executive double rooms and 2
junior suites. For larger groups, eg. at company events, weddings or
seminars, the facility can be partly or completely rented.
Our philosophy
Alma libre is the perfect place for nature lovers, activists and people
seeking peace. Our special location and concept create a unique
atmosphere from an old farmhouse tradition and modern lifestyle.
From conviction, we produce our own food while placing great
emphasis on 100% organic farming.
Conscious diet in harmony with nature
From vegetables to salad and wine - all from our own organic
cultivation. Even milk, eggs, meat and fish come mainly from their own
organic agriculture. All interested parties can participate in our farming
workshops and are happy to help actively.
Animals at Alma libre
Our animals should go well ! ! ! This is why we feed only organic feed
and ensure the best possible conditions of keeping. Whether chickens,
pigs, hares or our 2 cows, all animals have a lot of spills and are an
integral part of our plant.
Sustainability
We cover all our electricity needs through the sun. Solar panels cover
the required electricity supply and solar thermal supplies the warm
water. With regard to water, our own deep water supplies us with the
best drinking water quality. The water is then fully biologically clarified
and used for watering our plants.
Activities at Alma libre
Horse riding, mountain biking, beach volleyball, yoga, slackline, football,
bouldering, table tennis, swimming. There are numerous possibilities for
an active holiday.
The environment
Our organic hotel is located in the south-west of Portugal, near the
village of Odeceixe. The beach of the same name was chosen as one
of the most beautiful in Portugal. By car you can reach it in about 20
minutes. Due to our elevated position (270 m) we enjoy a great
wide view to the Atlantic.
In the area
The nearby beaches offer the best conditions for water sports. Surfing, Buggyboard or Stand up Paddeling -
the equipment can be lent to most beaches or thinks of us.
